I try to follow and read as much as I can that is relevant to Healthcare Analytics and Azara’s business. This week, I came across a great video from the folks at 3M, a company well know for producing more than 100 years of innovative and progressive thinking, and an article on the challenges of implementing analytics.
In a nutshell, both the article and video have many common themes. In particular, the short video solidifies and tightly summarizes many of the really important points that I try to emphasize everyday with clients and prospects.
- Healthcare Data Analytics saves and prolongs lives and can identify problems before they occur.
- Data IS NOT a technology issue, it's a business opportunity.
The conclusion, which should not surprise anyone, is:
Successful data analytics projects require enthusiastic and sustained support from executive leadership, a formula that is no different than what is required for success with any large, important initiative.
I certainly recommend you share these with your fellow leaders and staff.
