Azara Healthcare's EHR Plug-In Leverages SMART on FHIR APIs to Streamline Access to Patient Data at the Point of Care

Azara Healthcare is excited to announce that its EHR Plug-In technology is now available through SMART on FHIR API integration – making outstanding care gap, pre-visit planning alerts, open referrals, care management plans and additional patient data available to clinicians at the point of care. Users can save valuable time by accessing Azara DRVS information from within their EHR through single sign-on and authentication.

The DRVS EHR Plug-In, utilizing SMART on FHIR APIs, is currently available within athenahealth’s athenaOne, NextGen and Epic, and integrates directly with the EHR. SMART on FHIR APIs allow organizations to better share healthcare data in a transparent, standardized, and secure way – improving interoperability and access to important health information that impact patient health.

The DRVS EHR Plug-In also displays an HCC/RAF (Risk Adjustment Factor) coding guide which helps providers assure their patients' conditions and severity are properly reflected within their visit coding. Azara configures the display of DRVS information within the EHR to ensure it is properly aligned to the practice’s specific point of care workflows.
