Poll results highlight DRVS CQM readiness

Hello everyone.

Earlier this year we asked our readers to specify their Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) reporting priorities for 2014. We were interested in learning more about what our DRVS clients and community health center physicians, clinicians and staff members view as their greatest areas of need, and we also wanted to know how the DRVS platforms fares in meeting those needs.

We are extremely pleased with the response to the poll – both in the number of votes cast and in the affirmation that DRVS is equipped to accommodate the vast majority of the measures our audience views as the highest priorities. We designed DRVS specifically for community health centers and we work closely

with our client partners to ensure the platform achieves our shared goal of making data actionable.

As a re-cap, here’s how CQM priorities ranked among the poll respondents:

21%  - MU CQM 2014

20%  - MU Core & Menu set

16% – Transitions of care

14% – Immunizations

12%  - OB

 11%  - HEDIS

8%  - ACO

6%  - HIV

6%  - Other

Others receiving votes were:

NCQA PCMH, adult immunizations, PCMH processes, grant-related data, cancer screenings (breast, cervical, colon), Massachusetts Medicaid payment reform We are continuously expanding, updating, and refining DRVS to serve each of our client’s individuals needs.  Specifically, our April product release will include the following new functionality:

  • MU CQM's 2014 (25)
  • HEDIS Measures (31)
  • New OB Registry
  • Measures and Scorecard for MA Medicaid Payment Reform (PCPR)
  • ACO Measures (10 of the 22 EHR data based Measures)

Additionally, DRVS already offers the full gamut of standards based cancer screening measures, such breast, cervical and colorectal.

Late last year, DRVS received 2014 ONC HIT Certification as a modular EHR and is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition Standards & Certification Criteria. This is very important for Azara and our community health center clients because now every one of them has the ability to track and report their clinical quality measures using the 2014 standards. We are pleased to be counted amongst the few standalone Reporting and Analytics products that have been certified to the 2014 Edition criteria.

As we look ahead into the second half of 2014, we will be actively working to enhance DRVS to meet the needs and priorities of our client base.  The feedback you provide via these surveys and your direct communication with Azara or your Primary Care Association is extremely important and we thank all of you who participated in our CQM poll. We look forward to continuing to work as your partner in making your data actionable.

Thanks,

Jeff Brandes
