Director, Client Success - Health Plans

The Director, Client Success - Health Plans is a critical component of the sales and account management organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Client Success, the successful candidate will have deep knowledge of healthcare, especially Medicaid managed care health plans, primary care, ACO and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) organizations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of value-based care, quality measures, and population health analytics, as well as an ability to demonstrate value across a variety of provider and payer organizations. The candidate will have experience building relationships at a corporate level with senior executives and accelerating business development opportunities for expansion with existing health plan clients. Cultivating client value stories that present the benefits of leveraging Azara’s PHM solutions is important for new growth opportunities and contract renewals. Utilizing excellent relationship and communication skills, the candidate will partner with internal Azara executives across the organization in Sales, Client Delivery, Data Analytics, and Finance. Additionally, the Director, Client Success, Health Plans will manage a Client Success Manager (CSM) who handles the day-to-day operational needs of the Health Plan Quality, Care Management, and Data Teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strategic client relationships that will lead to long-term partnerships.

• Demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate client reporting and analytics needs and population health priorities that align with product functionality and services.

• Maintain client satisfaction and retention strategies, including contract renewal, upsells, and product expansion.

• Client advocate, responsible for relaying impact and value, including ROI, product utilization, and value-based care successes.

• Perform on-site and remote account review meetings and conduct regular calls to communicate value creation, ongoing project status, and outstanding issues.

• Exhibit a deep understanding of the client landscape and develop and maintain stakeholder maps to effectively manage long-term partnership and growth.

• Work collaboratively across the Azara Healthcare organization.

• Provide a strong working knowledge of the Azara products to help clients realize the full value of the solution.

• Demonstrate capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.

• Represent Azara at industry conferences and industry events.

• Local and out-of-state travel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 7-10 or more years of experience in a directly related field: healthcare, health IT, health plans, primary care, ACO, CIN, value-based care, quality measures.

• 3-5 or more years of leadership experience – managing people, teams.

• Familiarity with data systems, including registries and other population health tools.

• Proficiency in CRM tools, including but not limited to HubSpot or Salesforce.

• Experience with Electronic Health Records or Population Health platforms.
